Within the frame of our research residency at Sitterwerk St. Gallen, we conducted large-format scans of human bodies, carnivorous plants, and industrial automotive components in close collaboration with botanists, athletes, and mechanics. The scans served as 'transplants' and synthetic 'objets trouvés,' meticulously archived to establish the foundation of our continuously growing digital library. During our remote stay at the atelier house of Sitterwerk, St. Gallen, we had the opportunity to concentrate on the development of the Status Morpher, culminating in an exhibition in Geneva. While on-site, we explored digital modeling software to generate hybrid shapes through the fusion of organic and industrial forms. Collaborating with local art foundry experts, we delved into various 3D-printing techniques. Extensive research within the on-site material archive and dynamic library deepened our comprehension aside from aaccompaning theory ,of coatings and varnishes.
